Usually the lead story for one of these posts involves actual news.  Well, the news for today sucks.  So instead we’re going to talk about something that actually has me excited; a fan made trailer for an Avengers film but if it was made in the 90’s instead.

The trailer, which you can watch below, has Tom Cruise as Iron Man, Brad Pitt as Thor, Elijah Wood as Spider-Man, Jeff Goldblum as The Hulk,Keanu Reeves as Doctor Strange, Milla Jovovic as Black Widow, Denzel Washington as Black Panther, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Captain Marvel and the best casting of all time, Jean-Claude Van Damme as Captain America!

The funniest part about all this is the fact they actually re-used David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury; a role he played before in t.v.-movie performance.

It’s really well put together and more than deserves to be the big thing you talk about today.

In Other News…

I’ll save you the long and short of it, but Activision is being sued by their own shareholders over a failure to disclose plans to part ways with Bungie and their hit property Destiny.  Because of the fact this was not disclosed to new investors that a split was forthcoming, the shareholders are now taking a class action lawsuit up against Activision.  I’m not sure what the endgame is, as the issue is the hit to stock prices, and a lawsuit will just cause more damage.   Feels more like they’re cutting of the nose to spite their face.

Quick Hits –  Kevin Feige seemingly confirms another Stan Lee cameo after his appearance in Captain Marvel.  God of War‘s David Jaffe confirmed that they literally picked the title of the 2018 reboot out of a hat.  Classy.   Fans of the N64 will get to relive Turok in all of it’s shitty-ness on the Nitendo Switch this month, and will see the sequel later on in the year.  Mad Men alum Jared Harris has joined the Spider-Man spinoff film Morbius.
