Big Ring of Honor Signing News, Chris Jericho’s Announcement and More!

As Ring of Honor continues it’s Post Elite life, a  new signing has come the way of Mike Johnson of PWInsider.  According to PWInsider, former IMPACT and British wrestling star Mark Haskins has joined up with the promotion.  He joins PCO, Brody King and Bandido as the brands newest star.

This goes hand in hand with more Ring of Honor news.  One of the newer stars that just debuted, the not-as-talked-about Luchasaurus will tag with Shane Helms/The Hurricane and ROH booker Delirious in a Proving Ground  Match against the ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champions,  The Kingdom.   The match will take place at Honor Reigns Supreme in Concord, North Carolina.

And finally, Chris Jericho made his anticipated announcement today.  Many weren’t shocked when the Fozzy front man announced that there will be a second Jericho-Cruise.  The details will be revealed in January.  Jericho utilized a lot of Ring of Honor wrestlers, so I feel this goes hand in hand.  Here’s what Jericho had to say;

I want to thank all of you who were a part of Chris Jericho’s “Rock ‘N Wrestling Rager at Sea.  We made history, we sold it out for the inaugural voyage, for the first time ever, wrestling in the middle of the ocean. We had live comedy, live rock ‘n roll, podcasts, all of you said it was the best vacation of your life. Well, I got some news for ya. Chris Jericho’s “Rock ‘N Wrestling Rager at Sea” part two, second wave, is happening! Yes, we did it! We’re gonna make it happen, all the details: who, what, where, when and how, coming up in January. In the meantime, sign up now at chrisjerichocruise.com for the mailing list, get all the information. It’s happening! I can’t believe, I’m so excited.

In MMA news, which will sometimes creep into these blurbs every now and then, former UFC Champion Vitor Belfort has announced he’s returning to the ring once again.  Belfort briefly retired this year, after losing to Lyoto Machida.  Belfort is a legend in the sport, and his return may have some legs if he lands in a Bellator, or ONE Fighting.  While with the UFC he may just be buried on a preliminary card.
