Marvel Rebooting Uncanny X-Men, Night Before Metal Gear and More!

Marvel might finally be giving fans what they want with the X-Men.  After the sales of their X-Men Red, Blue and Gold books being sluggish and underwhelming, it looks like Marvel is relaunching the Uncanny X-Men with some heavy hitters.  Cyclops, Wolverine, Havok, Multiple Man, Wolfsbane, and Banshee are rejoining the book, with Hope, Magik and Mirage also rounding out the list.  The book will also see Wolverine return his his iconic brown and yellow attire.  The new lineup will roll out for Uncanny X-Men #14.

 

Marvel is also unveiling a new group in the Guardians of the Galaxy #3 book, called The Dark Guardians.  The group is made up of the future Frank Castle,  Gladiator, Starfox, Nebula, and Wraith.  The future Castle is also merged with the Spirit of Vengeance

 

 

 

 

Following in X-Men’s footsteps, DC’s doing a big change as well.  In Detective Comics #1000, which is out in March of 2019, will bring The Arkham Knight to the pages. The character made his debut in Arkahm Knight the video game, which ended up seeing Jason Todd under helmet.  With Todd being a live and well, it looks like this will be a different character.

 

In some minor news, Fallout has announced they’ll be shipping out those replacement bags that caused such an uproar when Fallout 76 were previously sent out.  Though, it’ll be 4-6 months for fans to get their replacement bags.    Fans are obviously upset about this.

 

In some cool NBA/anime news, Dallas Maverick’s newest star Luka Doncic was spotted rocking some killer shoes recently.  Doncic was photographed wearing sneakers with Dragon Ball Z’s Gohan.  The pic below is fantastic.

 

Finally, David Hayter recently posted a video of himself and Cam Clarke who read The Night Before Metal Gear was published online.  Hater is known for his voice work as Solid Snake from the Metal Gear franchise, while Clarke played Solid’s twin brother Liquid Snake, a clone who was constantly matched up with Solid throughout the course of the game series.  Be sure to check it out.
