Titans Getting New Suits? – With the show in full swing, and people’s rave reviews, the questions from “…will it be good” has swapped to “…when will we get Nightwing?”  That’s a good question, as we’ve gotten a lot of live action iterations of Dick Grayson as Robin, but never as Nightwing.  Well according to a new report from SuperBroMovies, the Nightwing suit is coming this season.  They claim that Grayson will make the switch to the iconic and classic black and dark blue suit made popular in the 90’s, and should happen by the end of the season.  They also claim that Donna Troy will in fact appear in season one, and her Wonder Girl suit is also comic accurate; something this show has done very well with in most cases.

Scott Snyder Talks Who He wants to Reinvent – Scott Snyder is doing pretty good work in DC, ranking arguably 2nd on the docket behind Geoff Johns in regards to talent and respect by fans for a writer.  Snyder reinvented Batman to be dark, gritty but also epic in it’s portrayal.  Knowing that he took a big swing with their biggest character and succeeded, many look at Snyder like he’s able to spin anything into gold.  So when asked at the New York Comic Con by Jim Viscardi who he’d like to take a run at creatively, Snyder gave a surprising answer, saying;

There are a bunch actually, I know it sounds weird but my first one Detective Chimp, I have a story that’s like intensely personal about why I think he’s such a beautiful character.  A monkey, I mean an ape, who is essentially always struggling against the bars of his cage to find out, to memorize the simplest stuff, and then winds up finding the fountain of youth and then ends up becoming incredibly smart and then still winds up feeling like he knows just a fraction of the mystery, and it’s a story where he winds up going back to Florida where he was once caged in a circus to solve a murder, I know it sounds insane.

But I actually have another Slam Bradley story I want to do that’s weird, first DC Character.  I’ve got a Kamandi story I’d really like to do as well. There are a bunch, there are a bunch. Doctor Fate’s another character I have a big idea for so, I hope one day, there’s a lot. As long as people keep picking this stuff up I promise I’ll try my best to do ones that surprise people.

Quick Hits – HBO has cast Naoimi Watts to star in the Game of Thrones prequel series.

Jason Flemyng And Jaime Murray have been cast to play Lord Hardwood and Theresa Walker in Pennyworth and Gotham respectively.
