‘Titans’ News, Major ‘Aquaman’ Trailer and More! – ComicCorp News

DC Titans News – DC Univere’s Titans series has already been greenlit for a second season and not only that, according to executive producer Akiva Goldsman, the show is set for at least three seasons.  In following that, the official Titans Twitter account revealed the first official look at Brendan Fraser’s Robotman.

New Aquaman Trailer Debuts – Trailer isn’t the right word for it, more like a highlight reel.  The preview showcases an extended chase scene of Black Manta and his men going after Aquaman and Mara respectively, as well as other minor scenes.  The trailer concerns me, as it’s over five minutes, and shows A LOT.  Which makes me wonder why would Warner Bros. put out such an unconventional trailer? Is the movie not tracking well?  Are the internal reviews bad?  Or is this a new idea to goose ticket sales?  Whatever the reason is, this isn’t your tpical trailer.

Star Trek Crossover Event – IDW Publishing has announced The Q Conflict, which will see the characters of the original Star Trek, Deep Space 9, Voyager and The Next Generation team up in a new crossover event.  The story will see all the crews and captains be put to a test against one another thanks to Q and his people.  The series will be written by Scott Tipton and David Tipton, and will be drawn by David Messina.

Quick Hits – Boom Studio’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic will be a reboot, ending the original series run, and there by the t.v. series extended continuity.  The new series will be updated for the modern era, but still promises Buffy and the Scoobies doing their thing. Capcom is rumored to be making Mega Man into a live action film.  Walking Dead showrunner Angela Kang revealed that Daryl Dixon, Michonne and Carol will all be leading the cast now, storyline wise, since Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) is leaving the series.
