Former IMPACT Champ Already Done After Debut? – So this one is baffling and at best is just a theory.  James Storm, former IMPACT World Champion and arguably their greatest tag team wrestler ever, made his debut with Major League Wrestling at their most recent set of t.v. tapings to set up a feud with Tom Lawlor (who just got released by the UFC).  However today we found out that James Storm has been let go from his MLW contract, which was at best just a collection of dates and no exclusivity.

Storm doesn’t break deals often, so this is a perplexing situation.  Storm has been tweeting at Bobby Roode and WWE fans as a whole; talking about how great it’d be to see Beer Money reunite in the WWE.  However, this might be more on MLW.  Not long ago they let go of MVP under similar circumstances just two months ago, announcing his departure on July 2nd.  Neither man has publicly stated as to why they left as of press time, but the truth always comes out eventually.

Major Name NOT at SmackDown’s 1,000th? – There are few names that mean that much to SmackDown over the show’s near 20 years.  The Rock – the namesake, The Undertaker – who was the brands biggest name, Edge – who helped launch a division, Rey Mysterio – who helped launch two, and Batista; arguably the brands biggest name.  Well despite it being in his hometown of Washington D.C. and Batista’s clout as an A-lister at the moment, it may come as a surprise to hear that he’s not been invited to the October 23rd event.  It should also be noted that Edge has also claimed he’s not been invited.

Quick Hits –  WWE wrestler Ember Moon is nearing her wedding date to indy wrestler Matthew Palmer, who made his NXT debut with her family, escorting Moon to her locker room prior to a NXT event.  IMPACT Wrestling has confirmed they sold out the venue for Bound for Glory in New York.  Brie Bella has revealed her return won’t be that long, as she and her husband Daniel Bryan are hoping for their second child in the near future.
