Update on Kevin Owens ‘Quitting’, Goldberg Talks ‘Taker and More! – WrestleCorp News

Kevin Owens Update – Last night on RAW, Kevin Owens cut a promo where he quit.  Obviously the memes around the segment were about him appearing at All In on Saturday but those just jokes.  In actuality there is speculation that he’s heading back to SmackDown.  He’s currently listed on the Alumni page on WWE.com to help sell the angle.

Goldberg Wants Undertaker, Kinda – Bill Goldberg sat down and talked to Inside the Ropes and revealed he’s open to facing the Undertaker, but want’s to be clear; he’s not pushing for it.  Goldberg wants to specify that he’d face him if and only if the circumstances of the match came together just right.

Don’t put words in my mouth.  I would like to have it if it came available and it was right and people wanted it I’m still capable of doing it.

Because once I sit here and say it’s a match I’d like to have that means I’m asking for it — I’m not asking for anything — I’m just saying if the cards fell right I wouldn’t say no.

Goldberg went on to talk about how long he’s known The Undertaker, which dates back to his time as a member of the Georgia Bulldogs football team.   Goldberg also claimed the WWE need to change their Hall of Fame set up, citing the issues he had with how his headlining moment went.

Quick Hits – Former WWE star Santino Marella is backstage in Toronto visiting friends.  Trish Stratus, Brie Bella and Maryse are backstage as well but all three are returning in some form to the company.  Daniel Bryan revealed that he’s only ever been exhausted twice in a match, once in 2003 against Paul London and one on RAW against Chavo Guerrero.  The original nWo are doing a reunion tour but no dates have been announced other than a signing at the Mango’s Tropical Cafe in Orlando.
