Update on Neville, Nakamura Unsure of Next Wrestling Home and More! – WrestleCorp News

Update on Neville – While The Observer, Pro Wrestling Sheet and others confirmed that Neville was no longer under contract, Mike Johnson of PWInsider has now confirmed the same thing.  After being on the road all weekend, Johnson finally got in contact with two independent sources who are familiar with the situation and told him that Neville was in deed done with the company.  So either everyone is wrong, or Neville really is gone.

Surfing Will Decide Shinsuke’s Future? – In what may of been a tongue and cheek moment, Shinsuke Nakamura referenced his love of surfing as a deciding point in where he’ll end up after this contract expires with the WWE.  In talking to Inside the Ropes, Nakamura talked about his deal expiring in January of 2019 and said;

That is a big decision.  Florida’s waves are better than Japan, it’s just an hour drive to the beach but just once a week I’m able to go to the surfing. But in Japan, if there’s a hurricane so I lived across from the beach, just a ten-minute walk. It’s hard to choose.

MLW Signs Several More talent – It looks like Major League Wrestling is targeting easier to sign guys now, as the WWE is gearing up for poaching season.  PWInsider has confirmed the signings of Jason Cade, Aria Blake, Jimmy Yuta, Rhett Giddins and the Dirty Blondes tag team, Leo Brien and Michael Patrick.  While some of these talents will be huge in years to come, it should noted that none of them are seen publicly as main event players, yet.  With guys like Jake Hager (Jacks Swagger), Filthy Tom Lawler, The Hart Family and others already on the brand, at best these are moves for their future.

Quick Hits – The Colons are returning this Tuesday on SmackDown, after being out for nearly a year as a team.  Former IMPACT Wrestling producer James Long is expected to be part of Triple H’s staff on the main roster when he finally assumes power.  Maryse is back on the road full time as a regular for the WWE.   Summer Rae is unsure why she was included on an online poll asking fans what talent should return to Evolution; thus ending those AJ Lee rumors.  If Rae wasn’t notified, why would Lee be in talks?  Despite suing Anthem, Jeff Jarrett can’t seem to formally serve them with any papers as of yet, thus making this whole thing more akin to a temper tantrum.
