WWE on Fox Update – According to the Athletic Smackdown is set to be moved from Tuesday to Friday, starting October 19, 2019. Rumor has pre-shows possibly appearing on FS1. Richard Deitsch, who wrote the article, said that Fox would have input on who FS1 hired for the pre-show. There’s still talks of doing a weekly studio show on FSN on Wednesdays.
Takahashi Injury Update – Hiromu Takahashi suffered a severe neck injury in his match with Dragon Lee at the July 7th New Japan Pro Wrestling G1 Special in San Francisco. The bad news is he did suffer some damage to the bones in his neck but thankfully no nerve damage. He’ll be able to begin training again in six months, but NJPW doctors want him to delay at least another three months in order to strengthen his neck even further.
Mae Young Classic Announces 5 More – WWE has announced that Rachel Evers (Rachael Ellering), Allysin Kay (former Knockouts Champion Sienna), new WWE Performance Center recruit MJ Jenkins, WWE NXT Superstar Xia Li and lucha star Zatara. These five now make 31 (you can see the whole list below), with only one more to be named. Could it be a more significant name, being saved for last?
