Batwoman’s Show, Jason Todd’s Redesign and More! – ComicCorp News

Batwoman Update -Batwoman might be coming faster than you think.  A new report from Geeks WorldWide has suggested that the current idea is to start filming next spring in Vancouver or Toronto.  Toronto though would keep Batwoman from doing much in the way of crossovers, as the other four Arrowverse shows are shot in Vancouver.

The only thing is, the only reason shows shoot in the spring is if they have a summer release.  The Arrowverse only just returned to work this summer.  So why get a three month jump?

New Red Hood Look? – The new Red Hood and the Outlaws are debuting a new Red Hood look that I’m gaga over!  In the look, Jason turns in his red helmet for a Mortal Kombat looking hood and vest, over a black t-shirt.  He’s matching it with knee high combat boots against grey tactile pants.

You can also see that gone are his pistols, replaced now by a samurai sword and what appears to be a crowbar.  That in itself is juicy, due to the way in which The Joker killed Todd – which started off by beating him to a pulp with said crowbar.  Sure, it was the explosion that finished him, but the crowbar was the most iconic part of the whole ordeal for fans.

You can also see he’s wearing a new symbol on his chest, which actually matches the mask he now wears to hide his eyes.  Coincidentally, he looks a little like Mister Terrific now.

Quick Hits – ‘The Batman’ is not based off of ‘Year One’ or any other particular Batman comic according to director Matt Reeves.  Fox claims they cancelled Lucifer due to the costs of producing a show with an outside studio and a narrowing audience making it harder to garner a good profit on it.  MI:6 actress Rebecca Ferguson joins the Men in Black spin off.
