MYC Announcer, IMPACT Breaks Records and More! – WrestleCorp News

MYC Announcer – In not-so-surprising news, Mauro Ranallo has landed to the gig to do play by play for the Mae Young Classic. While this will disappoint some, as many are hoping for more women to get broadcasting opportunities in the WWE, everyone can agree it wasn’t a bad pick.  Mauro is a professional, even if he does scream ethnic terminology at people on a nightly basis.  However, this would of been a good opportunity to see if Rene Young would be a viable option for the Evolution-women’s event.

IMPACT Wrestling Announces Major News – IMPACT Wrestling is enjoying a revival in 2018.  Fans are returning, watching the product, raving about the product and it seems to be bleeding into other aspects.  Like on social media. The company posted a Tweet saying that they broke a “ton” of records over the last week on several digital platforms.

They specifically point to their website getting the most hits in a single day and a seven day span ever, and mentioned that their YouTube channel has more subscribers and minutes watched this week alone as opposed to any other.

Quick Hits – Tye Dillinger and Cedrick  Alexander took to Twitter to apologize for jokes that some fans found unfunny from six years ago.  Matt Hardy is again posting cryptic Tweets; if he didn’t do this regularly I’d care.  Nia Jax took a shot at Johnathon Coachmen on commentary from Monday’s RAW.
