Riddle Officially Signed? IMPACT Re-Ups Two and More!

Matt Riddle to WWE? – Ringside News are citing three different sources when they report Matt Riddle has signed a three year deal with the WWE.  While no one else is saying it’s a done deal, many see this as the eventual landing spot.  He’s been cancelling dates left and right around the end of summer, when NXT/SummerSlam is taking place.  While Ringside News isn’t Mike Johnson or Dave Meltzer in regards to legitimacy are doubling down on this report.

IMPACT Wrestling Re-Ups Two – Rich Swann, who just joined the promotion a few weeks ago, has officially signed a “long term deal” with the company.   I’m told that all new contracts that are “long term” will be two years, with of course the option of talent taking outside bookings.  With the exception of the WWE and a handful of others I’m told, there are no limitations to where a talent works outside of the promotion; just as long as they prioritize IMPACT first.

Joseph Park has also signed a similar deal, but he’ll mostly be focusing on non-wrestling roles on and off screen as the soon to be 45 year old legend.  While he’ll still compete in the ring form time to time, it’ll be as an attraction match and not a weekly performer; unless things changes.

Quick Hits – Brock Lesnar will appear on the August 13th Raw in Greensboro, North Carolina.  John Cena and Nikki Bella may appear to have ended their relationship for good.  Joey Mercury will be serving as a coach for the ROH Dojo and TV Producer for Ring of Honor going forward.
