IMPACT Parts Ways With Two? Disgraced MLB MVP Joining Porn Star in Indy Fed? and More! – WrestleCorp News

IMPACT Lets Go of Two? – IMPACT Wrestling have apparently parted ways wit Sienna and Rebel, moving them to the alumni section of their website.  Sienna’s been dealing with medical issues that have kept her out of action for most of the year and Rebel was only used sparingly as enhancement talent.

IMPACT Slammiversary News – It’s also been announced that Slammiversary XVI has officially sold out.  The event takes place at the Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto on Sunday, and has an expected capacity of either 2-3 thousand depending on the layout of the venue.  This is good news for IMPACT who has had a nice resurgence this year.

Former IMPACT Star Sentenced to Prison – AAA wrestler and former IMPACT Wrestling Knockout Tag Team Champion, Ayako Hamada has been sentenced to 18 months in prison due to drug charges that stemmed from last year.  The arrest happened in her home in Japan after an apparent psychotic break caused due to cocaine.

Jose Conseco Joins Wrestling Promotion – The same promotion that is bringing in porn star Farrah Abraham, World Class Revolution Pro is now bringing in shamed former MLB All-Star Jose Canseco.  Canseco was an all time great in his hey-day winning the American League MVP, being a six time All-Star and hitting almost 500 Home Runs.  However, he’s a known steroid user who has used secrets and lies to stay relevant in his post playing days.  He’s tried to do MMA but that bottomed out.  So now he’ll wrestle for WCRP in Oklahoma.  Abraham isn’t set to wrestle, for the promotion, but Canseco and Abraham bring a lot of eyes to a promotion we otherwise wouldn’t even of heard of.  So that’s something.

Quick Hits – Kane apparently injured his Achilles tendon on the SmackDown go home show to Extreme Rules.   WWE has now added another four women to the 2nd annual Mae Young Classic, and they are Tegan Nox, Deonna Purrazzo, Jessie Elaban and Reina Gonzalez.  Ronda Rousey’s husband Travis Browne has expressed a desire to join the WWE.
