Major ‘Godzilla’ Rumor About Main Character, ‘Uncharted’ Fan Film and More! – ComicCorp News

Godzilla Sequel Plot Spoilers – It looks like Godzilla will be on the wrong side of the good guys this time.  In the first film, Godzilla seemed like a conquering hero….or at the very least a drunk conquering hero, who doesn’t realize how small his sister’s house is and oh my god now he just stepped on the family dog….

Or something like that.  However in this film Vera Farmiga revealed to Metro that her character has developed the ability to communicate to the monsters in the film, and can control them.  While she doesn’t outright say it, it seems she’ll use that ability to attack Godzilla.  Her quote reads as;

I play a paleobiologist. She has figured out a way to communicate with the creatures and potentially control them using their bioacoustics on a sonar level. So she is like a DJ for the monsters.

The next film is bringing in Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah.  All of this while setting up the King Kong/Godzilla battle in the next year or so.  The director of the second Godzilla film, Michael Dougherty has confirmed that there will be “bread crumbs” hinting at his debut.

Doc Brown Wants in On Rick and Morty – Christopher Lloyd, who played Doc Brown in the Back to the Future franchise, as well as other amazing roles throughout his time as an actor, recently talked to the Phoenix New Times and revealed that he’s familiar with Rick and Morty and has an idea on to join the franchise.

On if he watches the show:

I don’t follow it closely, but I’ve seen a few episodes and I gotta tell you, I think it’s a lot of fun. I know it’s some kind of parody of Doc and Marty.

On if he’d like to play Rick Sanchez’s father on the show;

I’d like to, of course. I think it’s really fun. That’d be fun.

On Back to the Future’s impact;

I think it’s a very positive film. A lot of people, especially at events, have told me Back to the Future helped them survive whatever issues they dealt with in their adolescence or before that. Back to the Future helped lift their spirits and be more optimistic. I think that’s a big thing and I’m so glad to be a part of something that helped people cope and get through their hardships.
