Former Champ in Mae Young Classic – The WWE has officially announced formerly retired WWE Divas Champion, Kaitlyn as the first entrant in the 2018 Mae Young Classic.  The former Divas Champion left the company in 2014 and focused on outside ventures under her legal name, Celeste Bonin.  She developed an addiction during her time away, and sought treatment, and then began training for a return to wrestling once her treatment ended.  She’s since started to actually wrestle again for Coastal Championship Wrestling.

Goldust Update – Despite having surgery on bot his knees, Goldust appears to be working his way back into the ring.  Goldust underwent surgery yesterday to repair damage to his knees, leading some to speculate if this was the end for the 49 year old legend.  Apparently not, as Goldust tweeted #KeepSteppin and #BenjaminButton on his post, leading us to speculate this surgery was done to prolong his career.  Here’s hoping to speedy recovery.

GFW Announces First Shows Since Split? – Since Jeff Jarrett left IMPACT Wrestling and formally ended their merger, we’ve heard nothing about any revival attempts.  Now we’ve found out that there are three GFW Branded events happening this summer.  All the events are at the Orange County Fair on July’s 17th, 18th and 19th at 7 p.m. EST at 239 Wisner Ave, in Middleton New York.

As seen above, night one will feature pro wrestling hall of famer, Jim Duggan, IMPACT stars KM and FAllah Bahh, ROH announcer and wrestler Colt Cabana, former IMPACT Legend James Storm, and more.

Night two will feature KM, Fallah Bahh, James Storm and Colt Cabana again, as well as The New Heavenly Bodies, indy standout Anthony Bowens among others.

Night three features Cabana, Bowens, KM, James Storm, as well as Dan Maff, and Jake the Snake Roberts, as the headliners.

Quick Hits – Jeff Jarrett will debut his one-man show from Sheffield, England on the Fite App.  The event will air live on July 25th at 3:15 EST.  NJPW as announced that Hiromu Takahashi has returned back to Japan today to continue his recovery from a severe neck injury.
