Predator Franchise Connections -A website called AvP Galaxy (Aliens versus Predator), is claiming to have sources that said there was a new type of Predator.  We already know there’s at least two types, and the film The Predator is supposedly showing off a variant of the original, but we now have rumors of a new one.  Apparently the film was going to take a Jurassic World type approach, where they experimented with Predator DNA to create a new one.

Joss Whedon Regrets Killing off Character – Former show writer Marti Noxon recently talked about the decision to kill off fan favorite character, Tara, in the hit WB series Buffy.  In an interview with Vulture they touched on if the shows morals hold up today, saying;

There were parts of season six where I feel we went too far,” Noxon said. “We pushed into some categories that almost felt sadistic and that Buffy was volunteering for things that were beyond just “bad choices” and were almost irresponsible for the character. That may have to do with my own history. [Laughs.] The personal, right? It’s personal. And I think that killing Tara was — in retrospect, of all the people, did she have to die?

But I did have way more input over that season and some real muscular influence on the direction of that season in part because I was really vocal about wanting Buffy to make some bad mistakes. My argument was that, when we become young women, especially if we’re troubled or haunted by something, that can lead us to make some bad choices, especially in the area of romance. And people really took me to task online. I finally just disengaged and didn’t participate in that conversation at all.

Quick Hits –  Netflix has announced a second season for Aggretsuko.  Samuel L. Jackson will be ‘de-aged’ by about 25 years for the Captain Marvel film.  Sony’s Spider-Man video game will not feature mission replay capabilities like so many other modern third person games have done.  Star Wars Episode IX has signed Keri Russell to a role in upcoming film.  John Wick 3 will be called John Wick: Parabellum.
