Top Gun 2 Announces Casting Choice –  Tom Cruise is coming back for the sequel to Top Gun but since the movie was 30 years ago, many actors have aged out and up from their roles.  So the question is who’s filling the roster.  Apparently Miles Teller of Fan4stic fame is set to play the son of Goose, played by Anthony Edwards.  Val Kilmer is also returning to the project, reprising his role of Tom Kazansky, a.k.a. Iceman.

Joining them are Joe Kosinski (Oblivion; Only The Brave; Tron: Legacy) as directing with a script from Peter Craig (The Town), Justin Marks (The Jungle Book), and Eric Warren Singer (American Hustle). Jerry Bruckheimer is back onboard as a producer alongside Cruise and David Ellison.

Quick Hits – Minor spoilers for Ant-Man and the Wasp; the movie takes place alongside the events of Avengers 4, with the credits-scene catching up to current events.  The lead Executive Producer for The Simpsons, Al Jean would love to see the series end the same way the series started; establishing a time loop for the series.  Titans star Minka Kelly claims the series and DC Universe service will launch in the fall.  Christina Ricci is up for a return to the Addams Family if the opportunity arises.  Stephen Amell has shot down rumors that he’ll spend three episodes of Arrow season 7 in prison.
