Taeler Hendrix Accuses Lethal of Misconduct, WWE Buying Evolve? and More! – WrestleCorp News

Hendrix Accuses Lethal – Taeler Hendrix has publicly claimed that Jay Lethal tanked her ROH Wrestling career because she refused to sleep with him. Hendrix, Lethal and Truth Martini were part of The House of Truth together.

Hendrix released a statement via Twitter, saying;

attorneys on my behalf have an ongoing investigation. I know I’m not the only one & ppl that have known of this investigation have been supportive. I’ll continue to fight for what’s right.

It should be noted that Hendrix once accused Dixie Carter and IMPACT of calling her “too fat for TV”, despite utilizing women like ODB, Awesome Kong, Jessica Havok, Hamada and others for years before and after Hendrix’s IMPACT run.

It should also be noted that during her run with the company, Hunter Johnston was still the head booker then, and he’s been known to be a bit loose with the morals.  Johnston was sleeping with Mandy Leon back in 2016, which ended up resulting in drama backstage where a referee was fired for misconduct.  The referee alleges that he and Leon had a jovial relationship prior to her relationship with Johnston but since they started dating, the dynamic between the two others changed.

The WWE has deemed things like this, talent dating members of the ‘office’, as inappropriate.  The change started when Michael P.S. Hayes got the sober Rosa Mendes drinking again after the two started a relationship.  Since then the WWE has curbed all office/talent relations.

So to say that there isn’t sketchy things happening in ROH Wrestling at the moment wouldn’t essentially be true completely.   Is any of this true?  Who knows, wrestling is like a living soap opera both in and out of the ring.  Maybe she’s telling the truth, and seeing Lethal win his second world title, and continue his rise in wrestling was the final straw.  However, it could also be true that she has seen her prospects slowly fizzle out, and with none of the major companies calling, she opted to sling mud in an attempt to get relevant.  No one can say for sure who’s lying right now.  I would actually be surprised to see ROH or Sinclair even release a statement on the matter.  Time will tell what happens next.

WWE Buying EVOLVE? – Dave Meltzer claims that WWE is considering buying EVOLVE, and has thought about buying it since they started working with them.  The deal could be done any day now, but Meltzer also claims that the deal could go nowhere.  Ever since FloSports and WWNLive parted ways due to legal issues, WWNLive and Evolve have been dealing with financial issues, leading to many to believe that the promotions days are numbered.

Wyatt at Fault – Bray Wyatt’s life is really spiraling out, huh?  He’s stuck in a nowhere tag team with a broken partner, he cheated on wife and according to his ex, bailed on his kids.  He’s been accused of waiting child support money on himself and now he’s once again in hot water.  Wyatt was involved in an accident last Friday, but it gets better.  Despite everyone for the most part being ok, the Tampa Bay Police cited Wyatt with careless driving.  According to the report Wyatt failed to operate his vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.

Wyatt apparently rear ended a car, which sent that car into oncoming traffic and caused a third car to wreck.  The report claims he was “inattentive” which is usually what’s used to describe someone who’s using an electronics device while driving.  The speed in which one is going upon the accident usually determines the degree of criminal responsibility, and if he’s just being cited then they’re only charging him with a misdemeanor.

Cody Takes Shot at HHH – Cody Rhodes claims he’s cool with the WWE.  That he has no problems with Triple H and the McMahons.  Cody, actions speak louder than words.  Cody, who is the toast of pro wrestling today, took a shot at Triple H’s need to be respected a few days ago on Twitter.  It starts with Deonna Purrazzo dropping out of All In to sign with the WWE.  It ends with Cody wishing her luck, and telling her to step forward in the obligatory HHH photo to minimize his former boss.

Frankly I love Cody taking a dig at HHH’s insecurities.

Quick Hits – Dave Meltzer is echoing what I said about Ruby Riott’s MCL sprain, claiming she’ll be back in the ring in a few weeks.   Kenny Omega claims the rematch with Cody Rhodes for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship is also for the leadership of the Bullet Club. Christopher Daniels, Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian have officially been booked for All In.  Chris Jericho’s Cruise will feature IMPACT’s Sami Callihan taking on ROH’s Marty Scurll.
