WWE Trying to Mess With ‘All In’? – Cody Rhodes recently replied to a Dave Meltzer tweet about WWE messing with ‘All In’.  The issue stemmed from Vince McMahon’s desire to kill all wrestling not known as the WWE.  Part of that includes him attempting to sign guys currently booked for Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks’ All In event.  Meltzer shot down the idea that the WWE could do anything more than try and sign guys booked for the show.  This caused Cody to fire shots at anyone who would seem to bail on this monumental event, by signing with the WWE, saying;

Nakamura Reveals Why He Left for WWE – Former NJPW star Shinsuke Nakamura and current WWE mid carder, recently talked to Lilian Garcia at the  Ace Comic Con recently.  During the interview, Shinsuke was asked why he left NJPW for the WWE and he said;

In Japan, I thought I accomplished everything.  So, I tried other things. So, then in 2015, [I thought], what should I do next? At the time, my friend, who works in WWE, called me. Probably it’s time to challenge next. Then I [decided to join WWE]. So, I didn’t follow the WWE history, but I knew big names like Andre the Giant [and] Hulk Hogan, because they wrestled in Japan. When I was a kid, [it was] hard to watch WWE, because I needed to go to [the] video shop, [but] I didn’t have any money.

IMPACT Wrestling Re-Signs Talent – IMPACT Wrestling announced via Twitter that they’ve re-signed Eli Drake to a “long” contract according to their twitter accounts.  Dave Meltzer reported that he had agreed to extend his deal into July, so he could work Slammiversary, and the tapings after but while on Sean Waltman’s podcast he revealed his deal had expired.   This announcement appears to indicate that he signed a deal for at least a year, if not two or even three years.  This is obviously a developing story.

Quick Hits – Oney Lorcan has suffered a broken orbital bone, and will miss time due to surgery.   According to Dave Meltzer, the upcoming Cow Palace show that New Japan Pro Wrestling is putting on is “not close” to being sold out; though no number was given.
