ROH Running MSG? New WWE Performance Center Coming? and More! – WrestleCorp News

ROH Running MSG? – Following in the news that AAA will be running Madison Square Garden in September, it’s now being reported that Ring of Honor has every intention of planting their flag right in Vince McMahon’s mecca.

ROH Plans on running a show at MSG, and not the theater, according to the Baltimore Sun’s Holden Wilen.  Apparently Sinclair is encouraged by their own attendance figures, All In’s sellout and the WWE television deals as a reason to expand into a more impressive size venue.   This is interesting, as both Sinclair and the WWE have similar political affiliations, so to go head to head would be a very problematic Thanksgiving at the White House.

Jokes aside, the WWE will either need to bring back major events to the arena or MSG will end it’s decades old relationship with the promotion.

Chris Jericho Working the States? –  Chris Jericho recently went on record to say that he has no intentions on increasing his work load, as he’s making top dollar for minimal work.  He also claimed that he has no intentions on working the states out of respect for Vince McMahon.  Jericho also said he was done working with NJPW and that he’d never work with IMPACT Wrestling.   Well….we both know how those declarations panned out.

WWE Building New Performance Center? – The WWE apparently is planning on building a new performance center; this according to Bobby Roode in a new interview with Little Rock, Arkansas  news station KARK.   The former NXT Champion went on record saying;

From what I hear, it’s going to continue to grow.  I heard that they’re looking to build a new facility — a larger facility.

Quick Hits – John Cena will star in a new movie alongside Jackie Chan called “Project X”.   Cody Rhodes slammed steroid users on Twitter, indicating they get blown up pretty fast in a match.  Lio Rush and Ricochet exchanged hilarious Twitter insults online.  The Godfather claims he was supposed to join the nWo.
