New Thundercats Series Announced, GTA Suing Fan and More! – ComicCorp News

Thundercats Roar -Cartoon Network has announced a new “Thundercats” show in the same animation style of “Adventure Time”.  The show will feature a similar re-design content wise similar to how “Teen Titans Go!” evolved into a comedy from the original “Teen Titan” series.  The cast includes many regulars that fans of the network will recognize, like Max Mittelman (Justice League Action) as Lion-O and Wilykat, Erica Lindbeck (DC Super Hero Girls) as Cheetara and Wilykit, Patrick Seitz (Justice League Action) as Tygra and Mumm-Ra, and Chris Jai Alex (Star Wars: Battlefront II) as Panthro.

GTA Suing Modder – Rockstar Games parent company Take-Two is suing prevalent modder Jeremy Taylor, aka Chr0m3 x MoDz.  And no, it’s not over his awful screen name.   Apparently this case goes back to 2014 when Take-Two and Taylor reached an agreement, where Taylor admitted to violating the game’s user agreement and copyright, and because of that would never create another mod for any game that Take-Two creates.  Well, who wants to bet he did it again?

In February Taylor apparently returned to the scene under the name of “Stelio Kontos”.  Kontos is the name of an “American Dad” bully, who picks on Stan Smith.   In a video, it’s revealed that he was back into the scene, and was creating new mods but letting other people take credit for them.  And that’s where Take-Two steps in to sue Taylor.  The company took him to Australian Federal Circuit Court for violating the terms of their agreement.

Quick Hits – Entertainment Weekly has revealed the first look at Netflix’s She-Ra series, created by DreamWorks.  Stephen Amell is on one of the longest running shows on the CW, maybe the second longest, only to Supernatural.  So it’s no surprising that Amell and them Winchester boys are still pushing for a crossover.  Just recently Supernatural crossed over with Scooby-Doo.  Universal Studios is not shuttering their doors on their Dark Universe just yet, this according to an Instagram post by Robert Vargas.
