Major ‘Infinity War’ Spoilers Inside, Mark Hamil Spoils a Surprise Character in ‘Solo’ and More! – ComicCorp News

Infinity War Directors Explain Everything – Remember when CBR wrote that piece claiming that ‘Dawn of Justice’ wasn’t a good movie, because Zack Snyder explained minor-secondary-imagery?  Well what does that say then when the Russo Brothers are explaining major, visual, plot-points?  Joe and Anthony Russo are commenting on a lot of stuff, explaining away plot points that should be obvious but aren’t.

On Why Thor Didn’t Go for the Kill Against Thanos:

I would argue that the fan base could be equally upset with Thor, who chose to throw that axe into Thanos’ chest and not his head.  Because he wanted to tell Thanos that he got his revenge.

On Why Scarlet Witch Doesn’t Have an Accent:

We have intentionally tried to strip that accent away for a couple of reasons. One is you’ll notice at the beginning of Civil War that Black Widow is training her to be a spy, and two is she’s been on the run, and one of the most distinguishing characteristics that she has is her accent. So if you’re gonna try to disguise yourself or hide yourself or not be caught, you’re going to try to limit those trigger warnings that would make it easy for someone to identify you, which would be inclusive of her accent. Clearly Black Widow as a red head is an incredibly distinguishing characteristic for her, which is why she has blonde hair. Cap, we’ve seen Chris Evans walk around in public with a beard and no one recognizes him. There are simple things you can do to your appearance that take about 90% of your visibility away, and for us it was very intentional that we would just keep stripping that accent down to show her acclimating and hiding.

On Red Skull Returning:

Somebody had to be the gatekeeper to the Soul Stone and somebody had to distribute the rules to Thanos and Gamora.  In a way that was credible and believable.  A character who has been trapped – the Red Skull has been turned into this wraith who now guards the Soul Stone and distributes the rules to whoever shows up their trying to obtain it. It felt like there was more credibility than just a random character.  Somebody who has a history with the stones may seem like they have a little more authority in terms of their experience – especially a tragic experience.

The Trailer Money Shot Not Being Used:

That shot that you’re referencing was never in the movie in the version that you saw. It was never even created for the movie in that version. It was literally created in that version for the trailer.

Mark Hamil: Ruiner – Mark Hamil dogged on ‘The Last Jedi’, he backtracked his comments but dogged them again.  He then revealed he’ll probably never do more Star Wars films and seems to be done overall with the brand.  However, he’s not entirely done yet.  The man famous for being the most beloved Joker of all time recently revealed a major spoiler about ‘Solo’; it’ll contain an appearance from an original Saga character.  Speaking to the Cape Up with Jonathan Capehart , Hamil is quoted as saying;

[Anthony] Daniels was so happy, ‘cause he’s in every single Star Wars movie.  Every single one.  All the prequels, he’s in Rogue One, he’s in Solo… Whoops! I hope that’s not — erm… but anyway, he’s in every single Star Wars movie. That’s not such a reveal — all Star Wars fans expect him to be in every movie.”

Quick Hits – Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will feature the return of the Zombie Mode.  Luke Cage season 2 will feature Bushmaster.  Sylvester Stallone is nearing deal to return to the Rambo franchise with the Fifth installment.
