Hulk Hogan Returning? IMPACT Wrestling Star Joins Bullet Club and More! – WrestleCorp News

NJPW News – Last night in Japan, we had some major pieces of news come out of the Wrestling Dontaku event.  Firstly, the fourth match between Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada has been set for Dominion in June 9th.  This will be a match with no time-limit and will be 2 out of 3 falls.  This will be the third decision between the two, as their record is currently one win, one loss and one tie between the both of them.

Also announced last night, was a new member of Bullet Club.  This member is straight from the IMPACT Wrestling roster and was introduced to the group by Tama Tonga, and it’s none other than former IMPACT X-Division wrestler, Taiji Ishimori.   Apparently he’s the new Bone Soldier.

Also Chris Jericho appeared at the event and attacked Tetsuya Naito, returning to the promotion after claiming he was done with NJPW.

Hulk Hogan Returning? – TMZ Sports is reporting that Hulk Hogan was requested to appear at The Greatest Royal Rumble and apparently almost was contacted about the event before passing on it.  The two sides started talking and now Hogan is being eyed to return “…the right way”.   Hogan was fired in 2015 after comments he made in and around 2008-2009 came to light.   The comments came during his time sleeping with Bubba the Love Sponge’s wife, which Bubba illegally filmed, then allowed to be stolen (allegedly).

Daniel Bryan News – Daniel Bryan was held off t.v. this past week due to the grotesque chest injury he was sporting thanks to chops from Roderick Strong.  The WWE felt it was too much to show on t.v.  It’s also being reported that Bryan is expected to wrestle a near full-time schedule. It’s possible he wrestles a full time schedule, but there’s always a chance he takes an extra night or two off.

Quick Hits – Tampa Bay, Florida is submitting bids to host WrestleMania in 2023, 2024 or 2025.   Bullet Club celebrates their fifth birthday today.  Brock Lesnar is expected by many to break CM Punk’s streak of 434 days, as he’s not scheduled to defend the title until at least Money in the Bank.
