WWE Star Was Set to be Publicly Fired? Why Did Some Stars Miss the Saudi-Show? and More! – WrestleCorp News

Update on Missing Stars in Saudi Arabia – The Big Show, Drew Galloway, and Sami Zayn were all left off the show for various reasons.  Big Show was re-injured and was left off the show.  Drew apparently couldn’t get a passport for the region in time, as he was a late minute addition to the main roster a few weeks ago.  While with Zayn there are two conflicting stories I’ve heard.  One has him opting to sit it out voluntarily due to his conflicting beliefs with the region.  The other was a company movie, as Zayn is Syrian by descent; and Saudi Arabia isn’t on great terms with them.  They’re not on great terms with a lot of countries.

WWE Star Apologizes – Ariya Daivari went to Saudia Arabia with his brother Shawn for last Friday’s Greatest Royal Rumble event and cut a promo on the country of Saudi Arabia, putting over his Iranian heritage.  For those not aware, Saudi and Iran hate eat other, so this was ballsy to say the least.  Ariya has been getting threats, and harassment online, because this is the Internet and it’s the worst thing we’ve ever created.  Daivari has since taken to Twitter to apologize over the incident.

The WWE Is the Worst – The WWE is the worst.  Tyler Breeze revealed that on the E:60 episode that covered NXT, that Triple H and the WWE were going to fire him on camera.  For the drama, I’m told.  The firing would of been real, and would of done specifically to add drama to the episode.  Breeze revealed this on the E&C Podcast, saying;

I was picked on it and it was revealed to me after from Triple H that I was supposed to be the guy who doesn’t make it.  I was supposed to be like, ‘hey, let’s follow you around for ESPN and at the end, you’re getting fired.’ And, of course, I had no clue, so I’m think, ‘oh, that’s awesome – this ESPN thing is going to be really cool.

Breeze doesn’t appear really on the finished product, which instead focused on Corey Graves, Xavaier Woods and Adam Rose.  They may of changed their minds, due to the fact that the end of the episode still featured a departure; Bill DeMott’s.

Quick  Hits – IMPACT Wrestling dropped 17% in the ratings last Thursday going up against the NFL Draft but those backstage at IMPACT weren’t surprised or concerned.
