IDW Names New Editor in Chief – IDW Publishing has named John Barber as Editor-in-Chief for the San Diego-based company.  A press released was issued Monday.  Barber follows Chris Ryall, who held the position from June 2004 to March 2018.

Also announced, Anita Frazier has joined IDW as well as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, who has held marketing and sales positions at DC Comics Licensed Properties, Sony Pictures Consumer Products and Universal Games.

 

More God of War Coming? – “God of War’s” director Cory Barlog was recently interviewed and expressed a desire that there will be more games for the God of War franchise, saying that he wants five games, and that the series could eventually come to the PlayStation 5.

No Tremors After All? – Despite a strong interest by SyFy and several other networks, it looks like a Tremors series is not happening after all.  Kevin Bacon, who was heavily involved in the series, posted on Instagram that the show wasn’t going forward.

Quick Hits – Jim Lee over the weekend refuted claims that Zack Snyder was fired, reiterating that he’s of the belief he stepped away.  Kevin Feige claims that the 4th Avenger Film will “definitely not” be called “Infinity Gauntlet”.  ‘Star Wars Episode I: Racer’, the game where you raced pod-racers for the N64 is coming to PC.  Details can be seen here.
