Davey Boy Cleared? – Word being passed around has Davey Boy Smith Jr. being cleared of charges stemming from an incident with Jake the Snake at WrestleCon.  Davey Boy threw coffee on the vet, after Jake refused to speak to Davey Boy jr over words Jake shared about his father, the original Davey Boy Smith.  Apparently his uncle Bret Hart helped facilitate the conversation between his nephew Davey Jr and Jake.

Ryan Satin though claims that Davey Jr. is still wanted and needs to appear in court in order to resolve the issue.

Moose Talks EC3 Joining NXT – Moose is one of the big names with IMPACT Wrestling going forward, and has been the lats two years.  When he joined, he made friends with Ethan Carter III, who has since left for NXT.  When asked about his friendship with EC3 and if they’re still in touch, he said;

I talk to him everyday. I’m so happy for him, he’s doing great things with the company he’s with now. Everybody knew he was going to be a star wherever he goes. He looks like a Greek god and he talks great on the mic and his in-ring work is great. We all knew he was going to do great things.

Moose is poised with the company going over and is expected to be a World Champion by many at some point in the future.

Quick Hits – Tetsuya Naito defeated Minoru Suzuki to win the IWGP Intercontinental Championship.  Brandi Rhodes debuted for Stardom in the 16-woman Cinderella Tournament, achieving her goal of wrestling in Japan for the first time.  PWInsider reiterates Jerry Lawler’s  claims that the women will in fact be paid their per show appearance fee despite not being at the Greatest Royal Rumble.  Danny Burch has returned full time with NXT.
