WWE Giving Women Hefty Payday to Stay Home? All In Announces New Talent and More! – WrestleCorp News

WWE Women Getting Hefty Payout?  – On the most recent edition of Dinner With The King, Jim Cornette stopped by and talked to Jerry Lawler about a variety of topics.  Yet, the one that I’m focusing on is the alleged prospect of what the WWE is doing in the wake of the Saudi Arabian controversy.  Cornette told Lawler that he knows the WWE is making millions and millions off of the deal to bring the WWE to the country.  And even hinted at it being more than we know.  So in order to smooth things out, why not pay the women a bonus to stay home?  Lawler chimed in, agreeing and even saying; “I think that’s exactly what’s happening.

So is the WWE paying their female talent more money to stay home?  We’ll see.  Seems very anti-WWE though.

All In Continues to Grow – After Joey Janela, Penelope Ford, and Chelsea Green were announced yesterday, it was a bit surprising to find out today that Jay Lethal and Britt Baker have joined the ‘All In’ show, happening on September 1st in Chicago.  The five names announced today join the growing list that includes other names like;  Bullet Club members Cody Rhodes, the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Marty Scurll, Hangman Page, Lucha Underground stars Pentagon Dark, and Rey Fenix, ROH talent Deonna Purrazzo , NJPW wrestler Kazuchika Okada, IMPACT Wrestling’s Tessa Blanchard and “Arrow” star Stephen Amell.  With 16 so far, there’s expected to be more announced in the coming weeks.

Quick Hits – After some waffling news wise, Paul Heyman will be going to Saudi Arabia. D’Angelo Dinero was backstage last night at SmackDown apparently as part of some sort of team with Evander Holyfield, the latter of whom are auctioning off a pair gloves.  Dinero was a boxer before he became a pro wrestler.  Zack Ryder has revealed his knee injury isn’t serious and will only miss a week or two for recovery time.
