New Venom Trailer Blows Expectations, Disgraced Manga Creator Back to Work and More! – ComicCorp News

Venom Trailer is Tits – Well, I’ll admit it, maybe we were a bit premature in our concern over this film.  The upcoming 2018 Venom trailer apparently is as amazing as we were told.  Not only does Eddie Brock work as a reporter, but Venom is downright fucking terrifying.  Now, the “sim-bi-oyte” pronunciation is going to drive me up a fucking wall, but considering it’s coming from Jenny Slate’s mouth, I can live with it.    The trailer below, bask in the glory that is; Venom.

Disgraced Manga Creator Back to Work – Well, this is odd.  Nobuhiro Watsuki, the creator of Rurouni Kenshin was arrested last year and charged in February for possession of child pornography.  I’m reading that this is a new law for Japan, as until 2015 this was something that wasn’t illegal.  The laws that Canada and The United State have on this topic, are vastly different than the laws Japan has; as well as the social stigmas. Nobuhiro was found guilty and sentenced to pay 200,000 yen, or $1,864 USD.

Because of this slap on the wrist penalty for a heinous crime,  Shueisha’s Jump SQ. magazine will begin printing new arcs of the Rurounki Kenshin manga.  They announced that Nobuhiro was currently living a life of ‘reflection and atonement’.   I’d like to atone a tack hammer in his knee.

Quick Hits – The indie game ‘Death Rode to Canada’ has had it’s console released delayed a few weeks due to the terrorist attack in Toronto yesterday.  Ninjax vs. the Valiant Universe is releasing their episodes to ComicBook.com over the course of the next few days to a week.  Episode 4 is up today.  Alden Ehrenreich is apparently signed on for two more Star Wars films.
