Scott Steiner Rants, Davey Boy Jr. Wanted By Authorities and More! – WrestleCorp News

Scott Steiner Calls Dixie ‘Dumb-Ass’ – Scott Steiner went to the old Red Foreman playbook in calling former IMPACT Wrestling President Dixie Carter a dumb ass for hiring the ‘racist’ Hulk Hogan.  Steiner then told everyone on the conference call for this weeks IMPACT Wrestling, that LAX was going to cut his lawn.

The irony in his words.

Konnan is gonna be doing what he always did when we were in nWo, he’ll be carrying my bags after this match and shining my belt.  And my shoes too, actually, he might come and cut my grass. I’m gonna have all three of them, really. I dunno, I haven’t decided yet.

[Ortiz and Santana] will be with Konnan cuttin’ my grass.  I actually have a [golf] tee spot on the grounds, so it better be just right. I hate golf, but they better be cuttin’ my grass right. That’s why I don’t understand why [Donald] Trump wants keep out all of the Mexicans, but who’s gonna cut the grass? Seriously. I mean that’s a legitimate question.

Though, and this is to put things in context, LAX are faces (…who run drugs…?) and Steiner playing up stereotypes gets heat on him.  It’s supposed to make you mad.  Hogan just said slurs about a dude.  The two aren’t really comparable.  Yet Steiner wasn’t done, as he goes on to talk about his three distinct stings in TNA/IMPACT Wrestling by saying;

Well, the first part when I wrestled with Jeff [Jarrett] was the reason why I actually came in the first place,” Steiner responded. “It was to help him out and have a viable alternative to just one wrestling organization in the United States. And we formed one of the greatest factions in professional wrestling, the Main Event Mafia with all of the collection of former World Champions. That was great because all of the talent that is up in WWE right now is Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, AJ Styles, those were the guys we were going against and trying to make, try to pass the torch to. The was the most profitable, comfortable time at TNA as far as viewership, making money, merchandise, and all that stuff combined.

Unfortunately, that led me to my next incarnation was working for dumbass Dixie Carter who brought in racist Hulk Hogan and all those other guys,” Steiner said “That’s what killed it and ran it into the ground. I let my feelings be known and he put a lawsuit on me because of the stuff I was saying on Twitter about Hogan. It was all true, the piece of s— tried to get me arrested, saying that I assaulted his wife in an airport. Thank God they had cameras there. And that’s why I left [TNA].

Which leads me to my third incarnation and that remains to be seen,” Steiner said. “Like I said, this is my second match, second time in, so I’ll see how this goes and see what happens. See how far we can take this company, see how much it can grow.

Vader Back in Hospital – The Big man himself is back in the hospital today, citing increased post-surgery pain and a bout of pneumonia.   The pain is expected, he had extensive corrective surgery to fix his heart.  The concern is for the pneumonia.  When you have huge surgery, and to be fair heart surgery is the biggest you could probably have, your immune system is compromised. Your ability to fight infections is down and you’re more susceptible to illness.  The concern will be to get Vader through the pneumonia, as that is as a serious as it gets right now.   We’re pulling for you Leon, get well soon!

Davey Boy Wanted by NOPD? – We covered the story when it first happened, but it looks like there is an official warrant out for the arrest of Davey Boy Smith Jr., known by WWE fans has David Hart Smith, for his involvement in a coffee-throwing altercation with Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts.  The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is saying he’s “wanted for battery in connection with this incident”.   They released an official statement to Pro Wrestling Sheet saying;

The NOPD is investigating a simple battery incident that occurred on April 7, 2018, in the 500 block of Canal Street. The victim told police that at about 11 a.m., he was signing autographs at the location when he was approached by a known subject, later identified as Harry Smith (DOB: 08-02-1985).

The victim told police he attempted to shake hands with Smith, at which time a verbal argument ensued. Smith then allegedly threw a cup of coffee at the victim’s face and fled the scene. No major injuries were reported by the victim.

It also should be noted that Davey Boy Jr. already admitted to the situation to WrestleZone but did state that it was Jake and his daughter, not himself, who was causing the situation to escalate.

Quick Hits – Jonathan Coachman will be removed from RAW this Monday and replaced by Booker T, as it appears as Coach has Golf Network obligations to take care of.   Triple H confirmed that the reason Gargano and Ciampa went last was due to the height of the rivalry and the emotion involved.   Former WWE and IMPACT backstage exec “Big” John Gaburick appears to be back with the WWE.
