‘Smallville Star’ Finally Arrested, New Doom Film Coming? and More! – ComicCorp News

‘Smallville’ Star Arrested – Marcus and I have been tracking this story for over a year, and now it all seems to be ending, though we’re not done yet.  Allison Mack, who starred as Chloe Sullivan on the CW’s ‘Smallville’ for ten seasons has been arrested for her ties to the cult NXIVM and its leader Keith Raniere.  NBC New York reports that Mack was taken into custody but no updates have been revealed as of post time.  Raniere is being brought up on human trafficing chargers and if Mack is his number two, will more than likely similar charges.

‘Doom’ Being Turned Into Another Film? – It looks like we’re getting another ‘Doom’ film but no Rock Johnson or Karl Urban in sight.  Right now all we know about it is that actress Nina Bergman will be apart of it and that Universal Pictures are the ones making it.  She claims it’ll be filmed in Bulgaria, so here’s hoping Rusev pops up as a cameo at least.

‘Ash Vs. Evil Dead’ Cancelled –  It’s being reported that Starz has cancelled ‘Ash Vs. Evil Dead’ after three seasons.  The show will conclude it’s run on April 29th of this year.  Bruce Campbell, who intends on walking away from the role for good after this outing, commented on the cancellation by saying;

Ash vs. Evil Dead has been the ride of a lifetime.  Ash Williams was the role of a lifetime. It was an honor to reunite with Evil Dead partners Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi to give our tireless fans another taste of the outrageous horror/comedy they demanded. I will always be grateful to Starz for the opportunity to revisit the franchise that launched our careers.

Quick Hits – Tom King will move Dick Grayson back to the Bat-suit this summer, as Bruce and Selina Kyle’s will take a break for their honeymoon.  Tom Clancy’s ‘The Division’ is being turned into a movie with David Leitch directing and Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain slated to star.  PlayStation Europe posted a new video on their YouTube account about the new upcoming ‘Dog of War’ game.  It’s awesome.
