Superstar Shakeup SDLive Edition, IMPACT Wrestling Parts Way With Wrestler, and More! – WrestleCorp News

Superstar Shakeup Part 2 – We reported yesterday on all the names that moved to RAW in the ‘trade’.  Today, it’s SmackDown’s turn.  SmackDown got Asuka, Sonya Deville and Many Rose for their women’s division.  The Good Brothers, The Bar and NXT Call-Ups Sanity for their tag team division . Also joining the call-ups are Andrade Cien Almas and Zelina Vega.  The single stars moving are The Miz, Jeff Hardy (with his US Title), Big Cass, R-Truth and the big prize; Samoa Joe.

IMPACT And Tyrus Part Ways – Despite no fans wanting him in the first time, and even less wanting him in the second time, Tyrus took to social media to announce he left the company.  The tone of his post seems to indicate he didn’t get what he wanted contract wise.  The post is below.

#tyrussmash 2014-2018 I have been a part @impactwrestling worked with a lot good people and for the most part enjoyed my time. Having said that… as I’ve grown … they well…. ummm. change is good and there defiantly has been a lot of changes and today after much contemplation it time for me to move on from impact. Creatively we just don’t see eye to eye on anything and I beat @therealec3 so I’m good… I wish them well in there future endeavors… #nuffsaid

It seems like a rather unnecessary dig at IMPACT, considering Scott D’Amore and Don Callis are getting rave reviews for their work.

Brock Lesnar’s New Deal – There’s a rumor, I haven’t even looked into it yet, but there’s a rumor going around that Brock Lesnar is set to earn over $400,000 a match for the WWE.  While that seems large, that would be in line with past deals that I’ve heard about and inline with the last rumored deal of $3 million a year.  That would also equal out to about six matches over the year, which is again par for the course for Lesnar.

Quick Hits – Bruno Sammaratino, pro wrestling pioneer, legend and all around beloved man has passed away today at 82.  Dave Meltzer has an opinion about Nikki Cross not being promoted, due to a possibility of her feuding with Shayna Baszler.  Season 2 of GLOW returns June 29th, the first teaser for the new season can be seen below.
