Full Run Down of Superstar Shakeup Day One, Vince McMahon -Social Justice Warrior? and More! – WrestleCorp News

Superstar Shakeup Day 1 – The first of two days of the Superstar Shakeup saw just about all of SmackDown’s waste get sent to RAW.  Lost in the nights festivities, was that these are apparently trades.  Huh, go figure.  Beyond that revelation, here’s who RAW got in the first day of movement;
Jinder Mahal and The Singhs (presumably),  Ruby Riot, Liv Morgan, Sara Logan,  Zack Ryder, Breezango, Natalya, Dolph Ziggler, The Ascension, Mojo Rawley, Baron Corbin, Bobby Roode, Mike (and Maria presumably) Kanellis, and Chad Gable all got “traded” from SmackDown.

Kevin Owens and  Sami Zayn got “signed” by RAW thanks to Stephanie McMahon, and Drew McIntyre got “called up”.

Heading to SmackDown we already know is The Miz.

Update on Nikki Bella/John Cena – So a source, that’s totally not Nikki’s mom or friends, told People that it was Nikki, not John who called off the wedding.  Because, somehow, a man who never wanted to get married, getting married, was seen as a him doing her a favor.  Cus, which, it was.  Here’s the quote;

John acted more and more like he was doing her a favor by somehow conceding to go ahead and marry her.  [Nikki] doesn’t need a pity proposal, a pity wedding, a pity husband. She’s a phenomenal, tremendous woman.

Turns out that when someone says something about never wanting to get married, don’t try and change them; just end it there.  Cue Roger;

(*This is all a work, I would bet….a toenail on this!  But not mine, Zach’s.  I’d bet Zach’s toenail that this is a work.*)

What’s Up With Rusev’s Casket Match? –  First he was booked in a Casket Match against the Undertaker.  Then we find out Chris Jericho was taking his place, but then after a Tweet by Lana, Rusev’s wife, Rusev is once again in the casket match?  Why? (slaps head like a mentally challenged orangutan) Here’s why!  Well, jokes aside, the reason being  passed around like a bottle of watered down vodka at a high school party has to do with Vince McMahon being an overly sensitive old man who needs to fucking retire.  Apparently Vince thought that it was “rude” of Rusev to call Undertaker what he is, old.  So not wanting to offend The Undertaker, who’s worth with the company is next to zero at this point, Vince removed Ruseve from the match.  However, when word got back to ‘Taker, ‘Taker reassured to Vince that he was in fact, very ok with being old.  So Vince, being the Social Justice Warrior that he is, let the ageist insult go and put Rusev back in the match.

Rusev, making Vince McMahon a SJW.

Quick Hits – Former tag team champions and current free agents, Jack Evans and Angelico are currently free agents but are getting attention from the WWE.  Jake Hager (aka Jack Swagger) has signed a “multi-fight deal” with the revived Major League Wrestling promotion.  Chris Jericho reiterates that his working arrangement with NJPW is over.
