Who’s All In Now? Did IMPACT Low-key Sign Two and More! – WrestleCorp News

All In Update – Joining the Bullet Club’s Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, Stephen Amell, The Young Bucks and Marty Scrull are (so far) Fenix, Penta El 0M (Pentagon Dark) and just confirmed yesterday Deonna Purrazzo and NJPW’s Kazuchika Okada.  The event is on September 1st and will be held at The Sears Centre outside of Chicago, Illinois.

Brock Lesnar Update – As announced yesterday, Brock Lesnar has re-signed with the WWE for the foreseeable future, but sometime around September he’ll be eligible to return to MMA and it’s expected that he’ll be fighting for the UFC again, while under contract to the WWE.  The rumor has Lesnar taking either Stipe Micoic or Daniel Cormier for the UFC Heavyweight Championship.    One source told me there is some debate among those outside of the ‘know’ about the WWE wanting Brock to go into the title fight with the Universal Title.

Update: Ok, ya’ll need to get your shit together.  Either Brock Lesnar is doing a one-and-done at the Dubai event according to Meltzer, or according to others it’s a several month extension until he’s cleared to return to the UFC (with a UFC fight being allowed in his contract) Or he signed a multi-year deal.  I even saw one source claim he stands to make $12 million.

You are all wrong, drunk and belligerent at this point.  Go home wrestling journalists, you’re drunk.

IMPACT Signs Two? – Last night Kurt Angle said a dumb joke, that he may of tipped off IMPACT with.  During a segment Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were told that if they didn’t get new WWE contracts that, “TNA is hiring”.  The crowd popped.  However, IMPACT, the current name of TNA Wrestling, was on the spot and ready to go with a twitter post featuring a photo of all their active contracted talent.  Clearly a sign that they had this ready.  It’s also a sign that IMPACT and WWE have formed something, as they used AJ Styles “TNA” photos during the Nakamura hype package.  Two references in 24 hours?  Highly unlike them.

Anyway, back to the point.  When the tweet containing the photo of their talent went live, two names were oddly among the rest of the roster; Pentagon Dark and Fenix.  Now yes, Fenix and Pentagon are booked for their Redemption pay per view in a triple threat for the IMPACT World Heavyweight Championship, however why add them to your official roster poster if they’re not in/coming in?  A search of their roster on the website shows no profiles but then again Garza Jr. is listed and he’s apparently WWE bound.

Quick Hits – Bobby Lashley returned to the WWE on the RAW brand last night, confronting Elias.  Roman Reigns is rumored to win the WWE Universal Title at at the Dubai show.  Dolph Ziggler is refuting he signed a new deal with the company, but that could be just typical WWE contract operation; to deny until it’s finalized.
