‘My Hero Academia’ Delayed? Zack Snyder Praised and More! – ComicCorp News

My Hero Academia Dub Delayed – Oh boy, this won’t sit well.  The folks at My Hero Academia and Funimation have announced that the dub (dubbed over) for the debut of the hotly anticipated season three has been delayed due to deadlines not being met.  So instead of the dub getting same-day released as originally stated, they’ll instead be releasing the English-Sub (subtitled).   While not the worst thing to happen, it’s still not great, as My Hero Academia is being heralded by many as being one of the better anime’s in a while, and even crossed over like Dragon Ball did a while back with the main stream fans, as I consider myself to be.

Stephen King Endorses New Horror Film – Despite Stephen King maybe not always being a fan of the adaptations of his books to screen, King is a big fan of good horror.  So it’s not surprising that he endorsed ‘A Quiet Place’.  He was very complimentary too, towards his ‘It’ film that came out last year, that also was met with great praise from fans and critics a like.  While I can’t say for certain how he felt about “Dreamcatcher”, if these last two films offer up anything, it’s that King’s endorsements should be listened to.

Zack Snyder’s Ahead of His Time We talked about this last night on the ComicCorp Podcast, that Zack Snyder was ahead of his time.  I openly praise ‘Watchmen’ and ‘Dawn of Justice’ as being either near or at the the of the pinnacle of comicbook films.  So to hear the man who played The Comedian, aka Jeffery Dean Morgan, praise ‘Watchmen’ for being ahead of it’s time is a beautiful thing to see.

I’m very proud of that movie.  People are still finding it and watching it, and I think it’ll have fans forever. I think it was ahead of its time, and again, I don’t know what else to say other than I’m extremely proud of it. Not long ago, I caught like, the second half of the film just flipping channels and loved it. It’s great.
