Brock Leaving? Someone’s Defending Moolah and More! – WrestleCorp News

Brock Lesnar Done? – The Wrap is citing an interview they did recently , in which they claim that Brock Lesnar is leaving the WWE for the UFC.  In the interview, they cite Roman Reigns and Ronda Rousey as two names that Paul Heyman could end up with once Brock leaves. (Writers Note: Assuming he does.)  This coincides with Triple H last week claiming they were trying to re-sign Lesnar but that “Brock is Brock” and a deal hasn’t been finalized yet.

AJ Styles on Retirement and Re-Signing – For those of you who hope that an IMPACT Wrestling return from AJ Styles would be marvelous, well, we’re looking like we’re out of luck.  Styles is always a company man, and despite his flat-Earth beliefs, is going to toe that company man line.  He did when he was in IMPACT, when he was in NJPW and now in the WWE.  So it’s not surprising he’s saying all the right things about wanting to stay with the WWE going forward.

On his contract, he revealed to Raute Musik that;

I don’t see why not if I can still do what I do. Like, if I can still be AJ Styles, then I would like to keep working in the WWE in a talent form, so as long as I can keep going, then I would like to keep working here.

After retirement, Styles could return to the WWE, saying;

I think there is definitely going to be a time to just sit and chill with the family, but a guy like me just doesn’t sit at at home, so I would like to get back on the road, either as an agent, or more importantly, become a trainer of some sort. Who knows what will be around in WWE by the time I retire. There may be a better job than that.

Fabulous Moolah Update – A man by the name of Nigel Sherrod has come forward trying to exonerate The Fabulous Moolah.  He cites eight women, while a ninth (Leilani Kai) has also come to her defense.  It should be noted that just about everyone women especially claims THEY themselves were never mistreated, not that the allegations others have made are inherently untrue.  Peggy Lee Leather is the only refuting anything with actual evidence.  Leather claims that Vachon couldn’t of been abused by Moolah, because she only started training wither her when Vachon was in her 20’s.  HOWEVER, as a separate interview from her 2002 one (the accusing Moolah one), Luna flat out says she left wrestling for a few years between when she was 16 and returned in her 20’s.  It should also be noted that Luna’s father, Pual Vachon and even Andre the Giant (close family friend) tried to get Luna to change her mind, as Andre apparently put it, “….It’s not good for ladies”.  Seemingly referencing to the abuse women received as a whole at the time.

It should also be noted that Sherrod is only interviewing those who were in good graces with Moolah, as most of the women he interviewed worked for her for years.  He’s conveniently not interviewing anyone who has made allegations.  It should also be noted that some women may actually feel that the way they were treated was fine, even if it was abuse.  When things happen 30-40 years prior and you never deal with it, it perpetuates a cycle of abuse.  There’s a reason most violent criminals are often victims before they are perpetrators.   And on a final note, the women’s wrestling industry around this time was ripe with abuse and harassment from all sides.  The only thing that may come to light in this witch hunt of his, is the revelation that Moolah may not of been the problem, but just a symptom of it.

I won’t quote anything he has to say, because it’s all driven from a perspective of proving her innocence.  Not finding out the truth.  But WrestlingINC and those…..GUYS…did, so here ya go.

Asuka’s opponent last night, Jamie Frost (Ellie Fredricks), wrestled her first ever match ever on RAW last night.  Let’s not get into the ethics of that right now.  WWE seems interested in optioning a show called ‘Talking Snack’ for their Network.  It would be a food and wellness type show.  Road Dogg has been announced to induct Jeff Jarret.   Sarita, aka Sarah Stock, cameo’d on RAW last night in that really awkward backstage brawl between Banks and Bayley.
