Hulk Hogan Returning? Daniel Bryan’s Contract and Agreements and More! – WrestleCorp News

Hulk Hogan Returning? – PWInsider is reporting that the WWE have been in talks with Hulk Hogan to return to the company for the first time in over three years.  Hogan was fired due to leaked video tapes of him ranting about minorities.  Hogan claims he was in a bad place and doesn’t believe the things he said, and many of the minority wrestlers who ever worked with him say they believe him.  The WWE is getting ready to clear the SmackDown authorities it seems, so many are speculating that he could end up as Commissioner or GM or SmackDown.  There’s also the chance he’d be back as an ambassador again.  It would be worth noting that the WWE wouldn’t bring back Hogan so close to WrestleMania and not want to use him at the event.  So even if he isn’t a weekly character, he more than likely will show up at WrestleMania.

Bray Wyatt News – Dave Meltzer is reporting that the WWE has had talks about Bray Wyatt getting a change up to some degree after his loss to Matt Hardy at the Final Deletion.  Some believe he’ll side with Matt Hardy, but that seems unlikely.  Wyatt has not impressed many backstage with his ring work, and there is a call by some both in and out of the company, to see what Bray could do with his brother Bo Dallas.  Will they ever put the Rotunda boys together?  Who knows.

Daniel Bryan Agreement and Contract – Despite what was previously believed, Daniel Bryan has confirmed that his contract expires on September 1st, as I once stated, not September 23rd.  Bryan also apparently had to agree with a list of medical evaluations by a medical professional after every physical action in the ring.  He’ll be taking Impact Tests and neuropsychological evaluation every so often until the WWE is confident that Bryan isn’t too banged up to still go.  It should be stated that the word right now has Bryan not too excited about re-signing with the company after SummerSlam.  Will he?  Who knows.  But it is possible that Bryan wants to get out of the WWE and knock off those wrestling bucket lists he talked about before.

Update – Rey Mysterio is too hurt to wrestle in Long Beach, and will be replaced by Will Osprey against Jushin Thunder Liger for the “Strong Style Evolved” event.  Austin Aries believes IMPACT Wrestling wants to keep Austin Aries around after his dates expire for the company.  Former NFL punter Pat McAfee will join the NXT TakeOver: New Orleans panel.  British company 5-Star, who tried to sign CM Punk for $1 million and tried to have a 128-man tournament last year, have announced this week that they’re closing their doors.  Matt Hardy indicated that Vince McMahon didn’t seem to indicate one way or another how he felt about the Ultimate Deletion.
