Scott Hall Needs to Shut Up, AAA Owner Wants IMPACT and More! – WrestleCorp News

Brock Lesnar Update – There are currently a lot of people who are reporting different things about Brock Lesnar’s WWE future. Dave Meltzer is claiming that the WWE is under the impression that Lesnar wants to return to the WWE but it’ll be another ‘photo finish’ as to if he does or not. The WWE is going to operate though as if he’s leaving, in order to help get Roman Reigns over. The hope is to downplay Lesnar, just in case he does end up in the UFC, so fans don’t think that they got one of the WWE’s biggest stars.

Scott Hall Opens Mouth – Scott Hall has been a beloved redemption story since DDP got his hands on him and helped turn him around. Hall’s lost weight, isn’t as dependent on drugs and alcohol and is in the good graces of the WWE again. Yet a flippant comment caused a media uproar when, in a now deleted tweet, he referred to Lex Luger and the late British Bulldog as ‘failed singles stars. Which isn’t even true, as Luger was a multi time World Champ and Bulldog actually headlines many mid-90 ppv’s. Bulldog’s daughter and ex-wife chimed in, correcting Hall’s words saying;

Hall has since deleted his tweet and has not responded to either woman’s tweets.

AAA Owner Wants IMPACT? – Despite AAA having financial issues, and Dorian Roldan being as unpopular as ever with talents in Mexico, Dave Meltzer is reporting that Roldan wants to buy IMPACT Wrestling. This despite Anthem having a very strong year so far with their new direction. It appears unlikely, as Roldan isn’t someone to be taken seriously. It’s also unlikely because if Anthem was going to sell, you’d think they’d of done it by now when ROH and WWE were reportedly interested.

Quick Hits – NXT wrestler Demitrius Bronson is out for the foreseeable future with a major concussion. Jeremy Borash was in North Carolina at the ‘Hardy Compound’ to film the Ultimate Deletion this past week. Despite being booked in a match in three weeks time, Bobby Fish underwent ACL surgery to repair his torn ligament. Seems unlikely he’ll be involved in the match, even if it was just to do a spot where he gets written off the show. EC3 made his NXT debut at a house show last night. The former Andrea the Giant (Sage Beckett) has been released from her NXT as well, following Kimber Lee’s release.
