Brian Michael Bendis’ First DC Titles Announced – Word Balloon’s podcast revealed that Brian Michael Bendis will be writing two new Jinxworld books, which was announced at Emerald City Comic Con. Bendis will be teamed with former collaborator Michael Gaydos on the title ‘Pearl’, while David Mack will team with Bendis with ‘Cover’.

‘Pearl’ will launch in August and will feature a tattoo artist for the Yakuza, and falls in love with a counterpart in a rival faction. The story is set in modern day San Francisco.

‘Cover’ is a spy book, that features a comic artist who becomes a spy.

My Hero Academia Talent Change – Season 3 of the hotly anticipated anime, ‘My Hero Academia’ seems to be missing their chief animation director; Yoshihiko Umakoshi from their staff. However Hitomi Odashima and Takahiro Komori are remaining with the show. It’s said that Umakoshi contributed less on the second season than on the first. Some also believe that Umakoshi is working on the live action film that is set for a summer release.
