Fantastic Four to MCU? – Marvel seems to be hinting at a major revelation tomorrow. After it was announced that ‘Avengers: Infinity War” would come out a week earlier than planned, Robert Downey JR. tweeted to the official Marvel account that he wanted an earlier release for the film, Marvel replied with ‘FANTASTIC idea’ tweet.

To which, Marvel’s VP and Createive Executive of New Media tweeted out the following

Now Marvel fans are getting way too worked up. There is next to zero chance that Marvel announced the cinematic debut of the Fantastic Four like many are speculating, because Fox still owns it and until the deal is finalized and signed, and approved by the United States, Disney will not announce anything. Why? Because until it’s legally binding, there’s always a chance something could happen, and Marvel isn’t that stupid.

What this is more likely about is the announcement of the return of the Fantastic Four to print, something that’s being hinted at for a while now.

DC Announces Sandman Universe – Neil Gaiman and DC Comics will be working together on the new ‘Sandman Universe’, which will coincide with the universes 30th anniversary. the universe will launch in August. Gaiman released a statement saying;

The Sandman Universe has always been very close and personal to me and I am thrilled to open up the world once again to an extremely talented group of writers and artists. I get to see the joy in these brilliant people whom I’ve selected, as they get their chance to play in this world.

Si Spurrier, Nalo Hopkinson, Dan Watters, and Kat Howard, are all involved in this new universe, with each of whom will getting a Sandman book that will come out during the event. Art for the one-shot will be provided by Bilquis Evely, with a cover by Jae Lee.
