Godzilla vs. Kong Update – The giant monster mash is happening and while it’s not expected to be released until 2020, the production on the film may begin sooner than we expected. The start of shooting is penned for October 1st and will wrap up sometime in February of 2019. Adam Wingard will direct.

Sonic News – Sonic the Hedgehog will see his first theatrical release on November 15th, 2019. With the release of ‘Sonic Mania’ last year, and the announcement of the film, it appears as if more than ever that Sonic is part of the American pop-culture zeitgeist. So it’s not surprise that Bandia Namco and Sega have partnered up for some mobile game crossovers with Pacman himself. Between now and March 20th, if you play ‘Sonic Dash’, you can play as Mr. and Ms. Pac-Man. Also, if you play ‘Pac-Man’ on mobile, you can now play as Sonic.

Quick Hits – Disney is rebooting the Muppets for their Disney streaming service. ‘Jungle Cruise’ will feature the Rock in a film more akin to ‘Indiana Jones’. Jungle Cruise is based off a theme park ride, much like “Pirates of the Caribbean’. HBO is building a real ‘Westworld’ Town in Austin Texas for three days in March, all so fans can get involved in the action. Mark Hamil to get Hollywood Star on the Walk of Fame.
