Jericho’s Big Announcement Is….?, Mysterio to WWE? and More! – WrestleCorp News

Chris Jericho’s Big Announcement – Chris Jericho is really putting a lot of work into this Cruse. While it’s overpriced to a degree, his Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea tour just added a major name. Jericho had been hinting at a surprise for a few days and today we now know it to be Kenny Omega. Omega is not a regular ROH Wrestler, so his addition is a bit of a surprise, but not much of one, as many expected him to be on it. No mention on who or what Omega will be doing.

Mysterio to WWE? – Rey Mysterio was interviewed by Inside the Ropes and was asked about if he could juggle his indy dates and WWE dates should he decide to go back. He’s quoted as saying;

Right now, the conversation is still in the open with WWE so I am hoping that when the time is right and we sit down to talk about the future of Rey Mysterio with WWE, if there is any future with Rey Mysterio, it is going to be good for both parties as much as it will be good for WWE as it will be good for me. I think it is in the best interest for the both of us. Putting that aside, whatever happens there, hopefully we can continue to do business with 5 Star Wrestling [indie Wrestling in general]. I don’t see why not.

IMPACT Taping Notes – IMPACT is holding their next pay per view on April 22nd, in Orlando Florida at the Universal Studios. They’ll then tape the next set of shows from there as well, going from the 23rd to the 27th of April. This will begin the buildup to their 16th anniversary show, currently scheduled for July 22nd.

Quick Hits – Taz and the Moose will debut on Sirius XM Radio starting tomorrow. DDP was brought into RAW last night to film new interview content for several WWE projects in the works. Jeff Jarrett reveals he was asked to go into the Hall of Fame back in January. James Ellsowrth has started an Intergender Championship, which you can see here.
