Omega Has Concerns About Ever Going to WWE, Major Injury Affecting WWE Star and More! – WrestleCorp News

Kenny Omega On Concerns with the WWE – Kenny Omega is not a fan of going to the WWE, so it seems unlikely that he will anytime soon. While talking to Sports Illustrated, he put over his concerns, while also talking up The New Day. In that article he states that he’s concerned about being boxed into a roll in the company, and uses the New Day as an example, saying;

When I see Big E, I clearly see someone who could be world champion. The guy is on another level. Kofi is one of those guys who is good in all situations and can challenge for all titles, and Xavier is another great athlete who is talented in the ring and confident on the mic.

Big E saw the quote on Twitter and replied by saying, “You making htis quote up? Don’t play with my emotions.”

Omega has since replied stating that he’s not making it up. Apparently Big E has a great respect for Kenny Omega, as his opinion would generate such a response.

Former Tag Champs in Bad Shape – Apparently the injury bug is more severe than we thought when it comes to Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan. Rollins is working with a pinched nerve or a pulled muscle I’m told in his back. It’s causing some issues, but will resolve over time. However, Jason Jordan isn’t as lucky. As of right now Jordan’s injury isn’t a back injury as was thought, but a neck injury. The injury is considered ‘serious’, and it’s causing gripping issues in one his hands. As of right now he’s still medically cleared to compete, but the WWE has been limiting what he does to allow him time to heal.

Quick Hits – WWE Wreslter Shinsuke Nakamura made history twice on Sunday by becoming the first Japanese wrestler to ever win the Royal Rumble (duh), and for being the first ever to win it at the 14th spot, according to WWEStats on Twitter. Kairi Sane, Dakota Kai and Candice LaRae are all backstage at NXT’s tapings tonight. TM61, aka The Mighty 61 is getting a new name; from now on they’ll simply be referred to as The Mighty.
