Shazam! Finds Their Wizard? – There are rumors coming out about the upcoming “Shazam!” film may have found their Wizard. In the comics, Billy Batson is given the powers he has from the Wizard Shazam. Since the name change from Captain Marvel to Shazam, the Wizard has just been referred to as the Wizard. The latest rumor has the film looking at Ron Cephas Jones to fill that role.

‘Last Jedi’ Hurting Toy Sales? – BMO Captial Markets Gerrick Johnson, a sales analyst, is claiming that Star Wars has had a huge drop off from 2016. While that isn’t the alarming thing, he cites the fact that a new saga film coming out during the year of the decline is worrisome. The Star Wars toy brand was always at the forefront of toy sales, even in the years – nay – decades of little-to-no-new activity. While other franchises dropped off, none of them had the name value, brand or longevity of the Star Wars franchise. Could ‘The Last Jedi’ of hurt the brand this bad? I think so. It’s the only time it dropped this hard, and that includes the years there was nothing new.

Dragon Ball Super in Trouble – Dragon Ball Super is currently on hiatus over in Japan but now fans are getting worked up over the possibility of it’s future. Reports are coming out of Japan claiming that the latest entry in the DRagon Ball franchise had just lost it’s time slot. Apparently a Japanese newspaper has reported that ‘Gegege no Kitaro’ will take over Dragon Ball’s slot on 9 a.m. starting on April 1st; this report thanks to Twitter user Todd Blankenship. The heads at Fuji TV are not done with Dragon Ball as of yet, there’s just no word on it’s return. At least that’s the feeling they’re trying to deliver.
